KATHMANDU, April 24: The government has directed all ministries, commissions and agencies not to nominate any officials for foreign visits for the next three months.
The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers (OPMCM) issued a circular to all concerned bodies, instructing them to comply with the decision.

According to the OPMCM, the directive has been enforced in line with the government’s decision on March 26 to prioritise the implementation of a 100-point governance reform agenda.
“Nomination of officials for foreign visits may obstruct the implementation of the 100-point action plan. Hence, all bodies are requested not to nominate any officials for such visits,” the directive states.
