KATHMANDU, Aug 6: There has been incessant rain in the hilly areas of the country including the Kathmandu Valley.
The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM) has reported that monsoon will be active in Nepal on Tuesday and Wednesday. A red alert has been issued in over three dozen districts which are likely to be highly affected.

Currently, Nepal is experiencing the influence of a westerly low-pressure system combined with local winds.
