KATHMANDU, April 29: Oman have set a daunting target of 306 runs for Nepal in the ICC World Cup League 2 match.
After winning the toss and opting to bat first at the TU International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on Wednesday, Oman posted 305 runs for the loss of eight wickets in their allotted 50 overs.

Oman captain Jatinder Singh led from the front with a brilliant 130 before returning to the pavilion. Facing 96 balls, he struck 15 fours and five sixes.
Hammad Mirza scored 30 runs, while Jiten Ramananadi added 43 before being dismissed.
For Nepal, Sompal Kami took four wickets, while Dipendra Singh Airee and Sandeep Lamichhane claimed two wickets each.
Nepal are set to begin their chase shortly.
