KAVRE, Sept 21: An inmate who had escaped from Nakkhu Prison has allegedly murdered his wife in Kavre.
According to locals Santa Bahadur Tamang, 35, of Panauti Municipality–12, Gagal, killed his 30-year-old wife, Manisha Ghyawa Tamang.

Santa Bahadur, who was serving a sentence for rape, had escaped from prison during the recent Gen-Z protests.
Kavre District Police Office confirmed that a police team from Area Police Office, Banepa, is heading to the crime scene.
According to police, further details will be available once the investigation team reaches the site. Tamang fled the scene after the incident.
