KHALANGA, Nov 16: A jeep in which Daljit Singh Dhami, chairman of Naugad Rural Municipality of Darchula, was traveling in has met with an accident.
The Bolero Jeep (3-022 Cha 5129) going from Naugad-2 Sundamunda towards Hoparigad met with an accident at Jamir in Naugad-3 Bagad this afternoon.

In the accident, the driver Jaibhan Singh Thagunna was seriously injured, while the chairman of the rural municipality, Dhami, sustained minor injuries, according to Gyanendra Bahadur Singh, District Police Office, Police Inspector, Darchula.
According to him, both the injured have been taken to Dhangadhi for treatment. It is said that the jeep was rented by Naugad Rural Municipality.
