KATHMANDU, April 28: A meeting of the Nepali Congress (NC) faction led by former Acting President Purna Bahadur Khadka is currently underway at a hotel in Dhumbarahi, Kathmandu.
According to a leader present at the meeting, the gathering is being attended by top leaders of the faction, Central Working Committee members elected from the 14th General Convention, district presidents and a few regional presidents from the Kathmandu Valley.

“There will be discussions on the party’s recent activities and future strategy,” the leader told Republica.
Senior leaders present at the meeting include Ramesh Lekhak, Shashank Koirala, Sujata Koirala, Purna Bahadur Khadka, NP Saud, Bimalendra Nidhi, Bijay Kumar Gachhadar, Prakash Sharan Mahat, Krishna Prasad Sitaula and Prakash Man Singh, among others.
