Met office urges caution as temperatures rise across the country

KATHMANDU, April 23: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM) has urged the public to take necessary precautions as temperatures continue to rise across the country.



According to the DHM, hot conditions are likely in Madhesh Province as well as in the Tarai and lower plains of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim provinces, including valleys and river basins.

The DHM has also warned of a possible heatwave in the Tarai regions of Lumbini and Sudurpashchim provinces. It has advised people to stay updated with the latest weather forecasts and adopt necessary safety measures.
