KATHMANDU, April 29: Nepali Congress (NC) has suspended party leader Purna Bahadur Tamang (Kanchha Ram) from his position as Ramechhap district chairperson.
According to the party, the decision was taken during a meeting of the party’s disciplinary committee held on Wednesday.

The party stated that Tamang has been barred from carrying out duties as district chairperson following the suspension decision. He had been serving as the chairperson of the party’s Ramechhap district committee.
