KATHMANDU, March 4: Nepal’s first platform dedicated to debating mathematics, the Global Math Debate League, has concluded its National Round at The Plaza, Lalitpur.

According to a press release issued by the organizers,  the competition began as a multi-city rollout across Jhapa, Biratnagar, Chitwan, Lumbini, Pokhara, and Kathmandu, and has now developed into a structured national academic circuit. The initiative is led by education organization Embark UnMath.

The press release stated that unlike conventional math competitions focused on speed and accuracy, the league requires students to justify assumptions, defend arguments, and engage in rebuttals under panel evaluation.
