KATHMANDU, May 3: The secretariat meeting of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is scheduled to take place today (Sunday).
According to the party, the meeting will be held at 11 am at the central office in Bansthali under the direction of party chair Rabi Lamichhane.

The main focus of the meeting will be preparing a framework for selecting candidates for the upcoming local level elections. The party has stated that the agenda prioritizes the “Local Level Candidate Selection Framework 2083” and the “General Convention Procedure 2083.”
The meeting will also discuss possible amendments to the parliamentary party statute. Leaders are expected to take necessary decisions on revisions to the party’s legislative framework along with other contemporary issues.
According to RSP, the discussions will aim to strengthen the party’s organizational structure and set a roadmap for future activities.
All secretariat members have been instructed to attend the meeting mandatorily.
