KATHMANDU, March 24: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has summoned a Central Committee (CC) meeting on Thursday at the party’s central office in Banasthali, Kathmandu, aiming to decide on the parliamentary party leader.
The swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected House of Representatives (HoR) members is scheduled for 2:00 PM on Thursday, while the RSP has set its CC meeting for 4:00 PM the same day to elect its parliamentary party leader.

RSP Spokesperson Manish Jha said Chair Rabi Lamichhane will preside over the meeting at the party’s central office in Banasthali.
All CC members have been directed to attend the meeting, which will also discuss a range of issues.
The RSP secured nearly a two-thirds majority by winning 182 HoR seats in the elections held on March 5.
