KATHMANDU, Jan 19: Minister for Youth and Sports Bablu Gupta is set to resign from his ministerial post. Appointed on 26 October last year, Gupta is reportedly preparing to contest the House of Representatives election on March 5.

Sources say he is expected to submit his resignation by tomorrow. “The minister is preparing to submit his resignation today, if not tomorrow,” a source within the ministry told Republica.
Gupta is reportedly contesting from Siraha Constituency-1.
