KATHMANDU, April 20: Samir Paul Kapur, the US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, arrived in Kathmandu on Monday morning.
He landed at Tribhuvan International Airport as part of a three-day official visit to Nepal.

Welcoming his arrival, the US Embassy in Nepal stated that Kapur will engage with government officials, business leaders, and cultural experts to further strengthen the US–Nepal partnership.
His visit comes amid efforts to deepen bilateral ties following the formation of the new government led by Balen Shah. During his stay, Kapur is scheduled to hold high-level meetings, including interactions with senior government officials and ministers.
He is expected to depart Kathmandu on Wednesday after concluding his engagements.
