KATHMANDU, March 20: Nepali Congress (NC), the main opposition party, has demanded the immediate resignation of Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane amid allegations of his involvement in cooperative fraud.
During the House of Representatives (HoR) session today, NC lawmakers rose from their seats, disrupting proceedings.

Responding to the disruption, Speaker Devraj Ghimire allowed MP Ishwari Neupane to speak.
Neupane demanded an investigation into Home Minister Lamichhane’s involvement in the cooperative fraud case, urging Lamichhane resign immediately.
