Janamat Party withdraws support from the government in Madhesh

DHANUSHA, May 6: The Janamat Party has withdrawn its support from the Madhesh Province Government.



A letter to this effect was received by the Office of the Chief of the Province, with the decision coming into effect from May 5, according to a press statement issued by the Office of the Chief Minister on Wednesday.

The letter stated that the Janamat Party had informed that it had withdrawn its support from the incumbent Madhesh Provincial Government, which was formed in accordance with Article 168(2) of the Constitution.


The Office of the Chief Minister stated that the concerned authorities were informed upon receiving the letter.”
