KATHMANDU, May 13: Prime Minister Balendra Shah is scheduled to respond today to questions raised by lawmakers during the ongoing discussion on the government’s policies and programmes in the House of Representatives (HoR).
The HoR meeting is set to begin at 11:00 AM, where deliberations on the government’s policies and programmes will continue. President Ram Chandra Paudel had presented the policies and programmes during a joint session of the federal parliament on Monday.

During Tuesday’s session, lawmakers from various political parties expressed their views and raised questions regarding the government’s plans and priorities.
According to the tentative agenda, Prime Minister Shah will respond to the issues raised during the discussion. The policies and programmes are also expected to be presented for endorsement in today’s meeting.
The budget for the fiscal year 2026/27 is scheduled to be tabled during the ongoing parliamentary session.
Meanwhile, the National Assembly is also scheduled to meet at 12:15 PM today, where a discussion on the government’s policies and programmes is expected to begin.
