KATHMANDU, Aug 31: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has decided to field Dr. Lekh Jung Thapa as its candidate from Rupandehi Constituency-3.

A meeting of the party secretariat announced Dr Thapa as the candidate from among nine aspirants, including Sulabh Kharel, Gyanu Paudel, Jit Bahadur Gupta, Madhu Prasad Aryal, Parthivendra Upadhyay, Kusum Maharjan, Poonam Kumari Agrawal and Rachana Chhetri.
To select its candidate, the RSP had conducted a primary election on August 28 from 7 AM to 7 PM.
