TEXAS (USA), April 24: Two Nepali youths living in USA have lost their lives over the last seven days in two different unfortunate events. One was killed in an accident and the other drowned in a river.
Two Nepali youths killed in a car accident in Virginia, USA
Arbin Thapa,20, who was studying Hospitality Management at Southwest Minnesota State University located in southern state Minnesota drowned in the course of swimming in the river. He had been studying in the US since 2015. He hailed from Bhoteodhar, Sundarbazar-3 of Lamjung district. His body found on Sunday in the river has been kept at the local hospital for post mortem. He went missing from Saturday.
Likewise, Nirajan Pun, 20, was killed in a road accident that occurred in California state on last Monday. He had been working in a restaurant for two years. He decided not to return home when he reached the US to partake in Under-19 Football Competition two years back
