213 kg of cannabis seized concealed in straw pile

A special team from the APF in Parsa recovered 213 kilograms of cannabis hidden inside a pile of straw in Batsaura of Bindabasini Rural Municipality-5.

PARSA, Nov 26: The Armed Police Force (APF) in Parsa has seized a large quantity of the banned drug cannabis.

A special team from APF Nepal’s 13th Battalion Headquarters, Parsa, recovered 213 kilograms of cannabis hidden inside a pile of straw in Batsaura, Ward No. 5, Bindabasini Rural Municipality.


According to the APF, based on a tip-off, the cannabis had been packed into 20 bags and concealed in the straw for smuggling from Nepal to India. The seizure was conducted under the command of APF Inspector Dipendra Prakash Malla from the 13th Battalion.
