448 of 465 police units damaged during Gen Z protests now operational

KATHMANDU, Nov 13: Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has said that 448 out of 465 police units damaged during the Gen Z movement have resumed operation.



Speaking before the Federalism Strengthening and National Concerns Committee on Thursday, Minister Aryal informed that the government has managed to restore most police units within a short span of time.

He noted that despite the initial period of uncertainty following the formation of the government, peace and security have largely returned to normal over the past two months.
