KATHMANDU, May 24: Nepali billionaire businessman Binod Chaudhary and his son Varun Chaudhary attended a reception hosted in honour of Marco Rubio as representatives of Nepal’s private sector.
The reception was organised on Saturday at Roosevelt House by Sergio Gor during Rubio’s four-day official visit to India. S. Jaishankar, senior government officials, diplomats, and leading private sector representatives also attended the high-level diplomatic gathering.

Sharing photos from the event on X, Binod Chaudhary said he has always believed that “Nepal’s story is bigger than its geography,” highlighting the country’s resilient people and untapped potential.
Varun Chaudhary described it as a memorable evening celebrating the growing friendship between Nepal and the United States, while also appreciating Ambassador Gor’s role in strengthening bilateral ties.
