KATHMANDU, Dec 2: The legal community is in mourning following the death of esteemed former judge Kul Bahadur Shrestha, also father of ex-Chief-Justice Kalyan Shrestha.
Kul Bahadur passed away this morning at Norvic International Hospital in Kathmandu. He was 95.

Family members said the final rites and a tribute will be held this afternoon at Pashupati Aryaghat.
Colleagues and well-wishers have expressed deep sorrow over the loss, praising Shrestha’s long life and his contributions to Nepal’s judicial heritage.
The entire Shrestha family — including Kalyan Shrestha — has received heartfelt condolences from across the legal community and beyond.
