Minister Khatiwada said that the government is making arrangements at the provincial and district level to make arrangements for those who have low immunity to get the third dose of vaccine within three to six months.

Minister Khatiwada said that the government had taken all necessary precautions to avoid transmission of new variants of COVID-19.  While stating that the government has so far banned the arrival of people from about 10 countries to avoid the spread of new variants of COVID-19, he said that citizens from other countries arriving in Nepal would also be kept in quarantine and allowed to go home only after carrying out PCR tests.
