The MoUD said the government has arranged for the digital profiling of genuine landless citizens and their management through holding centres. It added that these centres provide basic services including shelter, food, healthcare, education for children, and psychosocial counselling.

In its press statement, the ministry said: “Genuine landless citizens and those unable to manage their living conditions due to economic hardship are requested to visit the primary registration centre at Dasarath Rangasala to access government-provided services.”

The government has reiterated its commitment to ensuring safe, orderly, and long-term resettlement of affected citizens.
