KATHMANDU, Aug 4: The entire country is currently under the influence of monsoon winds, with the monsoon’s low-pressure line positioned north of its average location, near the Terai region of Nepal, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).
Windstorm with rainfall likely today
The weather is expected to remain generally cloudy across the country. There is a possibility of moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning in many areas of all provinces. Additionally, there is a chance of heavy rainfall at one or two locations in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.
According to the MFD, skies will continue to be generally cloudy. Moderate rainfall is likely in many places across Koshi, Madhesh, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, and in a few areas of the remaining provinces. There is also a possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall at a few locations in Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces.
