In UP, a stabile government has been an exception rather than the rule. The state has seen it all—hung legislatures, President’s rule, mid-term elections, and rapidly changing CMs, defections, alliances and betrayals. Will the 2017 verdict be a definite one or will it throw up a fractured one? May be history could give some insights.
