Jewelry worth over Rs 10 million stolen from house in Boudha

KATHMANDU, Feb 4: Thieves stole jewelry worth more than Rs 10 million from a house in Boudha Tusal, Kathmandu Metropolitan City–6.



According to the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, jewelry valued at approximately Rs 1,04,53,000, made of gold and silver, was taken from the home of Rinji Lama on Tuesday afternoon.

The theft occurred while the residents were on the rooftop drying clothes. Police said that it is likely the thieves took advantage of the roughly one hour the family spent drying clothes on the terrace,”


The Crime Investigation Office, along with Boudha Police Circle and Kathmandu District Police Range, is actively investigating the incident.
