KATHMANDU, Feb 25: Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) MP Sahnaz Rahman has passed away.
According to JSP MP Pradeep Yadav, 67-year-old Rahman passed away at Madhyapur Thimi Hospital on Saturday. He said that she suddenly had a heart attack while she was eating and chatting at a picnic held at Ghyampe Danda in Bhaktapur. She was then taken to the hospital.

Yadav said that the hospital declared her brought-dead.
Rehman was a central member of JSP and former president of the Women's Forum. She was elected as a lawmaker under the Proportional Representation (PR) electoral system.
