Kathmandu valley records coldest day of the year as temperature drops to 3°C

Kathmandu recorded 3.7°C, while the Sanepa area of Lalitpur saw the temperature fall further to 3.3°C. Reduced sunlight since Sunday has added to the cold conditions, meteorologists said.

KATHMANDU, Jan 5: The Kathmandu Valley recorded its coldest day of the year on Monday, with the temperature dropping to 3 degrees Celsius, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
