Leaders Khand, Karki and Lekhak register candidacy for NC’s central members

KATHMANDU, Dec 11: Three senior leaders close to Sher Bahadur Deuba-- Bal Krishna Khand, Gyanendra Bahadur Karki and Ramesh Lekhak -- have registered their candidacies for the post of central members of Nepali Congress (NC) under its 14th General Convention.

KATHMANDU, Dec 11: Three senior leaders close to Sher Bahadur Deuba-- Bal Krishna Khand, Gyanendra Bahadur Karki and Ramesh Lekhak -- have registered their candidacies for the post of central members of Nepali Congress (NC) under its 14th General Convention.

While leader Khan is the current Minister for Home Affairs, Karki is the Minister for Communication and Information Technology. Sources said they were denied office bearers' positions as Deuba had to allocate some positions for leaders close to Krishna Prasad Sitaula.
