KATHMANDU, July 20: Mr. Mahesh Mahato, Managing Director of Cosmic Electrical Limited, has been conferred the Entrepreneur Engineer Excellence Award by the Nepal Engineers’ Association (NEA) on the occasion of its 63rd Engineers’ Day celebration.
NEA, a national institution representing more than 45,000 engineers, recognized Mr. Mahato’s contributions in engineering-led entrepreneurship, sustainable infrastructure development, and job creation in Nepal and beyond.

Cosmic Electrical, under his leadership, has completed landmark EPC projects in power transmission, rural electrification, and clean energy solutions. Mr. Mahato’s goal is to empower 50 million lives by 2035 through innovation, electrification, and global partnerships.
“This honor reflects our shared mission to build a better future through engineering excellence and social impact,” said Mr. Mahato.
This recognition adds to his growing list of honors and further affirms his commitment to national progress through engineering innovation and entrepreneurship.
