NA Chair Dahal leaves for Istanbul

Chairman Dahal is scheduled to make a presentation on 'guarantee of peace and justice to next generation' in the General Assembly slated from April 15 to 19, according to federal parliament secretariat. In the course of the visit, he will also hold bilateral meetings with chiefs of parliaments from various countries.

KATHMANDU, April 14: Chairman of the National Assembly, Narayan Prasad Dahal, has left here for Istanbul, Turkey today. He is leading a parliamentary delegation to attend the 152nd General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).



Chairman Dahal is scheduled to make a presentation on 'guarantee of peace and justice to next generation' in the General Assembly slated from April 15 to 19, according to federal parliament secretariat. In the course of the visit, he will also hold bilateral meetings with chiefs of parliaments from various countries.

The Chairman will be addressing the fifth parliamentary network of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM). 


Spokesperson at the federal Parliament Secretariat, Ekaram Giri, informed that even the parliamentarians associated with Nepali delegation will attend the event. The Dahal-led delegation is scheduled to return home on April 21.
