KATHMANDU, Feb 8: Nepal made an impressive start in their ICC T20 World Cup match against England, claiming two crucial early wickets.



Nepali spinner Sher Malla marked a dream beginning to his international career by taking a wicket off his very first delivery. Bowling his debut ball, Malla dismissed England batter Phil Salt, giving Nepal an early breakthrough.

Nepal continued the momentum as fast bowler Nandan Yadav picked up the second wicket of the innings. Yadav dismissed England captain Jos Buttler, who was caught behind by wicketkeeper Aasif Sheikh. Sandeep struck soon after, trapping Tom Banton leg-before-wicket (LBW), reducing England to early trouble.
