KATHMANDU, Sept 9: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) fell by 15.43 points as indices of all groups went downhill on Wednesday as the market closed at 2545.40 points.
The market, which had increased for the previous four consecutive days, declined double-digit points. The trading amount increased moderately, to Rs 4.19 billion from Rs 3.83 billion of the previous day.

While the value of 74 companies increased, 192 decreased, and 11 remained stable. The Development Bank Group decreased the most by 2.37 percent.
The price of Upper Lohorekhola Hydropower increased the highest by 15 percent. Similarly, the price of Shubham Power increased 6.40 percent, Barahi Hydropower by 5.79 percent and Ingwa Hydropower by 3.66 percent. The prices of Emerging Nepal, Sindhu Bikas Bank, and Janaki Finance decreased 15 percent.
The companies with the largest transactions were Reliance Spinning Mills, Central Finance, NRN Infrastructure, Solu Hydropower, Shivam Cement, Sanima Middle Tamor, and Emerging Nepal.
