According to the Weather Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there is a chance of light to moderate rain and snowfall, accompanied by thunder and lightning, in parts of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.

Meanwhile, hotter conditions are expected across Madhesh Province and the Tarai areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces, including valleys and lowlands. Lumbini and Sudurpaschim’s Tarai regions may even experience heat wave conditions, because apparently summer felt like skipping the warm-up phase this year.

By tonight, partial cloud cover is expected over the hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi Province, as well as the mountainous regions of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces. The rest of the country will mostly see clear weather.

There is also a slight chance of light rain and snowfall at one or two places in the mountainous areas of Koshi Province.
