Petroleum prices hiked

According to the NOC, the price of petrol has been increased by Re 1 per liter, while diesel and kerosene have gone up by Rs 3 per liter.

KATHMANDU, Feb 16: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has revised the prices of petrol, diesel, and kerosene effective from today.



According to the NOC, the price of petrol has been increased by Re 1 per liter, while diesel and kerosene have gone up by Rs 3 per liter.

As per the revised rates, petrol has been fixed at Rs 156 per liter in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Dipayal.


Similarly, the price has been set at Rs 155 per liter in Surkhet and Dang. In Charali, Biratnagar, Amlekhgunj, Bhalwari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi, and Birgunj, petrol will cost Rs 153.50 per liter.


Likewise, the price of kerosene has been fixed at Rs 142 per liter, the NOC said.
