KATHMANDU, June 26: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has alleged that President Bidya Devi Bhandari is acting like a cadre of Prime Minister K P Oli.
Addressing a press conference organized by the opposition alliance in the capital on Saturday, NC President Deuba also criticized President Bhandari for trashing their legitimate claim for the prime minister as they submitted signatures of 149 lawmakers and hastily dissolving parliament instead.

“President has become a cadre of Oli. She dissolved parliament even after receiving the signatures of 149 lawmakers. I am miffed with President than with K P [Oli],” he said.
Deuba also expressed confidence that Supreme Court will reinstate the dissolved parliament and issue a mandamus order to appoint him as the new prime minister. The hearing on the writ petitions filed against the dissolution of parliament is currently underway at the apex court.
