KATHMANDU, June 3: Officials on Thursday confirmed 6,828 new cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), taking the total casetally to 576,936.
Meanwhile, 5,904 patients have won their battles against the disease in the past 24 hours as of Thursday afternoon, according to the health ministry. With this, 81 percent ---- 467,467 people -- of the total infections have so far recovered from the disease.

The ministry also shared that 75 people died of the complexities linked with the disease on Thursday. Nepal’s COVID-19 death tally stands at 7,630 as of Thursday.
The recent release from the ministry revealed that 101,839 patients are yet to recover from the disease.
