POKHARA, Aug 28: A total of 102 dead bodies retrieved from Trishuli and Narayani riverbanks have been brought to Pokhara for tests and identification.
The Assistant Chief District Officer of Kaski, Chitrangad Baral, said the dead bodies recovered in Dhading, Gorkha, Tanahun and Nawalparasi Purba by the security personnel and local residents in the rivers were brought to Kaski for tests and confirmation, as the districts lacked the capacity to manage those dead bodies.

He said 41 dead bodies from Nawalparasi Purba, 23 from Tanahun, 11 from Gorkha and 27 from Dhading districts were brought to Western Regional Hospital in Pokhara on Thursday night.
Baral shared that nine bodies recovered in different areas in Tanahun district were sent to Manipal Hospital after tests at the Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences.
