KATHMANDU, Sept 9: Gen Z protesters have issued Kathmandu Mayor Balendra Shah (Balen) a firm deadline of 2 PM today to join their movement.
As debates rage on social media over whether Balen should take a leadership role in the protests, several participating youths warned they would wait only until Tuesday afternoon.

One post read: “Dear Balen, if you can be with us by 2 PM, come and lead. Otherwise, remember that you could never be our leader.”
They added that failure to show up by the deadline would sever any remaining connection with him.
