SURKHET, March 25: Police have completed the investigation into the death of 16-year-old Inisha BK in Surkhet and submitted the report to the Office of the Attorney General. The case is now set to proceed to the court for legal proceedings.
According to the District Police Office, the investigation report was prepared based on evidence collected from the scene, statements of the accused, and technical analyses. Some technical reports have already been received, while the remaining documents will be presented to the court as needed.

Inisha was found unconscious in a community forest area of Birendranagar on the morning of March 7 after leaving home for tuition. She was taken to a hospital but was declared dead by doctors.
Police had taken some minors into custody as suspects during the investigation. The victim’s family claims that Inisha was raped and murdered, demanding impartial investigation and justice.
The family has also refused to release the body from the hospital until justice is served, reiterating demands for strict action against those involved and a fair investigation.
The final decision in the case will now be determined through court proceedings.
