KATHMANDU, March 4: Lalitpur Metropolitan City has requested residents to manage their household waste on the day of the upcoming House of Representatives election, citing an inability to collect garbage on that day, according to a press release.

The metropolis stated that regular waste collection and cleaning services scheduled for March 5 have been postponed due to the election. Residents have been urged to store waste properly within their homes or compounds and avoid dumping it on streets, public areas, or open spaces during this period.
