Manoj Mani Acharya, chief of the Special General Convention Secretariat, said they will wait until Saturday for the central committee to take ownership of the special convention they have announced.

If that does not happen, he said, they will proceed as the organizers themselves.

If they move ahead as the organizers, the special convention supporters plan to invite leaders from within their own party but not leaders from other political parties.
