KATHMANDU, April 8: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has wished for the speedy recovery of Prime Minister Boris Johnson of the United Kingdom.
The British Prime Minister is currently undergoing treatment after being hospitalized since his coronavirus symptoms worsened.

President Bhandari conveyed her wishes in a telephone conversation with Queen Elizabeth II this afternoon.
Recalling the longstanding bi-centenary relations between Nepal and the UK, President Bhandari also pointed out the need for global unity to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, said the President's secretariat.
