RPP MP Oli urges govt to act against human trafficking networks

She urged the government to take swift action to dismantle such networks and bring those involved to justice.

KATHMANDU, May 18: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chief Whip and lawmaker Khusbu Oli has called on the government to immediately arrest and take action against organised human trafficking networks operating in Nepal.

Speaking during the emergency hour of the House of Representatives on Monday, Oli said that Nepali women are being sold in countries like Kuwait for around Rs 1–1.2 million under the guise of foreign employment.


She urged the government to take swift action to dismantle such networks and bring those involved to justice.
