RSP representative dies near Morang vote counting center

According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Kabit Katwal, Regmi suddenly collapsed while having a meal near the counting site around 11:45 AM and was rushed to Rangeli Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

KATHMANDU, March 6: Durga Regmi, a 50-year-old representative of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Krishna Karki in Morang–2, passed away near a vote counting center.



According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Kabit Katwal, Regmi suddenly collapsed while having a meal near the counting site around 11:45 AM and was rushed to Rangeli Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

Regmi was a resident of Rangeli–9 and was serving as the RSP candidate’s representative during the vote counting process.
