DHANGADI, Feb 21: Three people were killed and one seriously injured after two motorcycles collided on Friday evening along the Dhangadhi–Dadeldhura (Bhimdatta) Highway section at Bandevi Road in Attariya, Kailali.
According to the Area Police Office, Malakheti (Attariya), the three injured victims died while being rushed to Dhangadhi for treatment.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ran Bahadur Chand said that 22-year-old Harish Oli of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City–2, who was riding a motorcycle (registration number Su Pra 01-0103187), died in the incident. The pillion rider, 23-year-old Jeewan Pathak of Lalpur, Godawari Municipality–6, sustained serious injuries and is undergoing treatment.
Similarly, 26-year-old Yogendra Shah of Godawari Municipality–1, who was riding another motorcycle (registration number Su Pra 01-009 Pa 7781), and his pillion rider, approximately 23-year-old Harish Parki, were also killed in the crash.
DSP Chand said preliminary observations at the scene suggest the motorcycles were traveling at speeds exceeding 100 kilometers per hour, with parts of the vehicles scattered across the area. He added that Shah had previously been injured in two separate motorcycle accidents.
Police said Oli was returning to Dhangadhi after attending a wedding in Godawari when the accident occurred.
