JHAPA, Feb 22: Nepali Congress Vice President Bishwa Prakash Sharma has said that winning and losing elections is a normal process.
Speaking at an election corner meeting held Saturday at Buddhashanti 4 in Jhapa Constituency 1, Sharma made the remarks.

On the occasion, he said the Nepali Congress, which has pledged to reform itself and transform the country, must be made the largest party in the nation. “The country is going through a difficult situation right now,” he said.
"Winning and losing in elections is normal. The main question is who can steer the country in challenging times. Therefore, the people will elect the Nepali Congress, which has the capacity to provide the right leadership and lead the country toward a solution, and make it the number one party.”
He urged voters not to cast their ballots in emotion, impulse, or frustration. Addressing Gen Z voters in particular, Sharma called on them to vote with confidence for the reformed Nepali Congress.
He also appealed to voters to make the Congress the country’s leading party through the House of Representatives election scheduled for March 5.
