MAHENDRANAGAR, April 21: A youth was knifed to death at Bhanubasti of Punarbas Municipality-7 in Kanchanpur.
The deceased has been identified as 18-year-old Ujjwal Sayar of Punarbas-5. He was attacked with a knife on his chest following a dispute among youths who had been at Bhanubasti to attend a wedding ceremony.

According to police, Ujjwal had been at the marriage ceremony of his relative when he suffered the attack. Severely injured in the attack, he breathed his last at 2:00 am today, amidst the treatment at Maya Metro Hospital in Dhangadhi.
District Police Office Spokesperson Deputy Superintendent of Police Hem Bahadur Shahi confirmed the arrests of two locals: 25-year-old Dhan Bahadur Bayadi and 19-year-old Tanka Thapa for their alleged involvement in the incident. They are being interrogated, and further investigation into it is underway.
