KATHMANDU, May 19: The price of gold and silver increased in the Nepali market on Tuesday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), gold is being traded at Rs 295,300 per tola today, marking an increase of Rs 500 per tola.
Gold and silver prices remain steady
On Monday, gold was traded at Rs 294,800 per tola.
Similarly, silver prices also went up. Silver, which was traded at Rs 5,040 per tola on Monday, is being sold at Rs 5,085 per tola today—an increase of Rs 45 per tola, the FENEGOSIDA said.
In the international market, gold is currently being traded at USD 4,544 per ounce.
